I can't really be sure about the massacre ring because of the variable damage, all I know was that with it on I did 140 damage and with it off I did 195 damage, maybe if it was added in the character sheet I would be able to tell. (maybe make the damage shown there have a min and max)
well, maybe it was a bug, but when I first saw the bandit lord he was not showing, nor did he move, so I dont know, he did become visible once he started attacking.
and no, it is when they are on the trap and are attacking you.
wyrmics are fine, I did get a lvl 21 killed in 2 turns (well, 2 of my turns as I did get stunned) because I wasnt paying attention. right now it still is almost impossible for a melee character to win, it probably is possible for a wyrmic to do so because of their ranged abilities as well, but they lack the stun that is almost necessary (they can get it after level 10 though. I probably will play one again, but this time not get fire breath as it is weak, and instead go the shield route. (I went precise strikes last time). I did find most of the artifacts, (only spell and elemental fury and mana and blood of life (saw this in a shop) were not found).
maybe a melee character could stand a chance with a high defense, as it is hard to kill things in a single blow. and diseases are deadly, doing about 3-400 damage. either tone it down or make it so that healing and greater healing potions can remove diseases. (maybe make it so that healing has about a 50% chance, and greater has 90% chance and full removes it)... OR make a cure disease potion or a restoration potion or something.
also maybe add a % encumbrance at the top of the inventory screen (ie make it read: Inventory - x% encumbered, or something) I know when I was playing this seemed to jump, I went from being able to carry 2 armors to being able to carry 4 as well as a bunch of weapons.
later I will post a list of stuff that I think needs to be done before release. (yes, some of this stuff is what I need to do too)
oh and the resistance should also be taken off the character sheet if it is 0% (or if you really want to, just list all resists whether or not you have something increasing them or not)
maybe make hammerhand have 4 armor as steel > iron
also make a kill list so we can see how close we are to some achievements?
oh and maze wasnt that annoying, as the game remembers traps so if you trigger a new trap on the way back you know you didnt go that way
