Re: "Odyssey of The Summoner" is OUT!! Find it here...
Ah. Yeah, waterbreathing is not fun to find for AM OotS classes.
From your save, I’ll need the game.teag, and from it (because .teag is another compressed file), I’ll need all three mod.class.PartyDrakeling-(various).
Optimally, I would also need the object files containing the aquastones, but, since digging through the massive pile of .Objects would take ages, I can probably get a character to Lake of Nur and then copy over an object file they get.
I should be good with just the party member files from the .teag, all in all.

Here's the drakeling files and two aquastone object files in a zip.Kamani wrote:Ah. Yeah, waterbreathing is not fun to find for AM OotS classes.

Getting the aquastones files was no issue at all - just used notepad++ search all open files.
Couldn't attach the teag itself, board says the file cap is 256 kb and it's 1.4 megs.

Okay. It’ll be 30ish minutes before I can start, but hopefully, after that, it should be pretty quick.
Oops, hadn’t thought of that.
Yeah, no surprise. Just putting in the new files over the old files once this is finished should work fine.

Okay. I think this should work, but please backup your save before trying this (I would test it myself, but I can't because I don't have access to the original save file, and I haven't tried moving drakelings between save files before). Sometimes, changing random stuff can ruin an entire save file on ToME, but as long as you have a backup, that won't be an issue.
Add both the object and the drakeling in the file to your old file (if the object wants to overwrite something, something might get deleted from your inventory, so I guess check what it wants to overwrite if it wants to overwrite something), and then test it. The inventory slots should be back, and the mouth slot should have the aquastone. All of the other items will still be gone, as I never had access to them, but, hopefully this should work.

I think I managed to salvage everything she had on her that wasn't arcane when it happened anyway.

Great! Glad I could help.
Okay. Glad that not too much got lost.

Oh, by the way, drakelings normally drop their inventories when they die (guess that works poorly with AN and aquastone). The equip slots part is entirely new to me though.

Well, THAT didn't end well.
I completely forgot that A. the Temple of Creation level group has no air bubbles, and B. that Georespiration just does minor mitigation on the life/air damage from tunnelling.
I got drown-killed (or maybe just to zero life) in the ToC same turn one of the kids landed a killshot that dinged me, and instead of going the Eidolon plane it threw this error:
[LOG] #00ffff#[Isovau] grows to level 44!

Seems that Odyssey doesn't like major drakeling events happening at the same time as PC death.

If it ended up with you dead but not at the Eidolon Plain (not present but stuff keeps moving?), a dev could probably fix it with force rid of recall, and I might be able to fix it, although I know a little less about that one.

It managed to screw things up so badly I had to break out task manager to close the game.Kamani wrote:If it ended up with you dead but not at the Eidolon Plain (not present but stuff keeps moving?), a dev could probably fix it with force rid of recall, and I might be able to fix it, although I know a little less about that one.
I think I'm going to call it a wash and see if I can figure why my game throws the same series of error messages during load every time, regardless of mods.
Re: "Odyssey of The Summoner" is OUT!! Find it here...
Well that stinks.
On the error messages on load: try moving your world.teaw (in the saves file) to somewhere else (just in case you need it back). That has fixed some similar issues for me, so...

It's not a playthrough specific thing.Kamani wrote:Well that stinks.

It happened with every game and on new game at chargen.
Uninstall/reinstall fixed it.
Re: "Odyssey of The Summoner" is OUT!! Find it here...
I figured it wasn’t playthrough specific. The world.teaw file is in the saves folder, not a specific save, and it affects more than one save (I had an issue where it crashed on every new game, and removing the world.teaw fixed it.
Glad that reinstalling fixed it though. Issues like that are really annoying.

Reinstalling fixed part of it, not all. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll give it a go.
