@Kamani
... I hate Inner Demons SO much... It breaks SO much of my code...

@(Everyone)
WHOOPS!! I found a MAJOR bug with how "Nature's Bane" works. *THIS* would explain why Ritch gets corrupted so easily:
- If you take blight damage that, for example, brings you to 200%, the effect is designed to resolve TWICE (once for each 100%). *HOWEVER*, I coded this incorrectly: When it resolved, it was applying 200% of the effect, then removing 100%, then applying 100% of the effect. In a circumstance where you receive, say... 1000% build-up... Well, I'm sure you can imagine what will happen then... :oops:

... Needless to say, I'm fixing this, and you can all expect an update VERY soon-- Perhaps "an hour or two" kind of soon.

... Also, COMPLETELY irrelevant side-note: I have considered making a Discord channel so that people can communicate with me quickly and efficiently. A lot quicker and efficient than posting on the forums or trying to upload an image on a file server. I'll still communicate through here-- But let's just call this "The super-cool tester's chat" :lol:

Here's a summary of the Ritch bubble run so far (I'm going to make this a little less wordy than the Fire Drake one I did long ago)
- Pretty easy without using Impermanent weapons or Flamespit-- Although...
- ... I die to the crystals in Scintillating Caves at Level 3 due to greedily trying to save an escort. Would have been easier if I had a ranged attack...
- ... Other than that, EVERYTHING is a joke! Spent most of my time bumping and Battering whatever I saw-- Even uniques.
- ... Oh yes, and A LOT of headhunts. "Frozen Visage" is really darned good.
- AMAZING drops so far! I've been VERY lucky! Let's see how my luck changes in tier 2.
I DO have a "long" version of this, but I will spare you it until asked.

Doing a Hydra run. Hydra seems more my style, although both poisons and fears are resisted by far too many things. Died twice, once to Protector Myssil at level 12[The worst part is that I would have won if Rabbits Foot had not cured 0 status four times in a row] and once to a bone giant reaver rare in Last Hope Graveyard. Bone Giants are a huge pain to kill for any character, but Hydras have an especially hard time. Bone Shield & Reassemble, high resall, immunity to poison and fear all combine to make them incredibly annoying. A Bone Giant that happens to be a Reaver, well... the only way I'll beat that thing is by either coming back after doing the East or becoming Blighted.

Bugs I encountered:

#1:
I visited Zigur, got hassled by the guards and then persisted until combat ensued. I killed them, had a huge epic fight with Myssil, died and then retreated. I came back at a higher level, got hassled again, persisted again and fought them. Except this time they plot magic restrained me after one turn of combat and there was a Recollections: Alone event before I got kicked out. I immediately went back in, got hassled by the guards, persisted until they fought me and then killed them and Myssil. Next time I came back in, no one stopped me.

I don't know how the Recollections event triggers work, but I easily could have locked myself out of the Zigur one if I'd managed to kill Myssil the first time.

#2:
Turning an enemy with permanent summons Braindead also turns their minions neutral, but without nessecarily applying the Braindead effect. I made an alchemist rare Braindead, healed up the leftover golem with a healing totem and and had him follow me around as a minion.

@Arcvasti
RE: #1
That reflection is, in fact, a missable. It's not a bug-- If you kill Myssil, you can't do the event... Simple as that!

RE: #2
I daresay you found a clever loophole, actually! That is no bug-- And you found a WONDERFUL way of utilizing it! :lol:

Okay, drowning drakelings seem to be fine now. Not deleted. Weird.

Edit: Nobody perma died.

Edit: I can duplicate shadow drakelings. They take lethal damage, their soul returns, then they use the dark resist skill and don't die.

@Kamani
Ya, I considered that at one point-- But there is nothing that actually "instant-kills" a Drakeling in that way (I presume you're using Developer Hax), so I didn't really prioritize that. Either way, that's already been patched out in the next update! :lol:

"Odyssey of The Summoner" has been updated! (Version 0.5.3)
*** Version: 0.5.3 ~ "Nerfs and Buffs! Oh no, oh yes!"
[CHANGES]
- You can no longer clasp "Impermanent" objects.
- "Treasure Hoarder's Will" now has a cap of 250 Encumbrance for bonus effects.
- Lowered the threshold for Drakelings to receive their "Ultimate" trait (it's "easier" now)
- "Nurturing" (as from "Dragon Heritage") can no longer exceed the target's missing life. (IE: if you have 300/400 life, you can only be nourished by 100)
*** This change is to counteract the "frontloading" of healing on Drakelings as a (somewhat mindless) defensive tactic. The "minigame" of healing Drakelings should be a little more interactive, as only long-term sustained effects will be able to "responsively" heal them now.
- Increased the "Life Steal" of "Hookclaw" natural attacks to 25% (from 20%)
- "Batter" now causes "Flesh Wounds", NOT "Bleeding". (much safer, less obtrusive bleeding)
- "Lick Wounds" can now cure "Flesh Wounds" and is guaranteed to do so.
- "Keen Awareness" now grants 2 more Infravision (the overall gain is increased by 2). It also "rounds up", meaning you will see gains sooner.
- The "Corruption" threshold is MUCH higher now (it is now MODIFIED by Constitution plus a base value, rather than being DETERMINED by it)

[FIXES]
- Some missing code to allow Drakelings to learn "Scale Temperance" and "Scale Potential".
- "Heart of Gloom" no longer modifies your "Wildness" (This was exploitable!). It now modifies a "soft" value called "Wild Power".
- Fixed an error that occurs when Drakelings are wearing "a certain thing".
- Corrected a rounding issue with "Hamper" (removed more sustains than it said it would)
- Fixed a bug with "Nature's Bane" if one received 200% or more build-up in a single turn. (Sorry Ritch!!)
- Fixed a bug concerning Darklings when they are instantly-killed.
- Fixed a bug with Drakelings not receiving your "no-breathing" property if you started blighted.
*** The following are NOT retroactive to "old" characters
- Sludgenest is now GUARANTEED to appear for Avatars. (Whoops.)

Good luck, and cheers!

Rak'Shor's cunning needs a retirement effect for explore mode. Edit to this: Oh wait, I see. With how it is phrased, I thought it did something besides the obvious. Okay, nevermind.

Edit: Also, now Drakelings don't save themselves at all with night hex, so they will still get killed to fire, even when they would have survived. Is that intentional?

Edit: Something for the spoilers forum again.

@Kamani
RE: Rak'Shor Cunning
This is not my talent. Don't bother asking me to do anything regarding it (other than compatibility).

RE: Night Hex?
Tested this right now. It appears to be working fine. Can you be more specific about how/when it wasn't working?

RE: "That spoiler thing"
... Unfortunately, that's an "error dump" error-- Which, ironically, means there was an error with recording the error-- Not very useful to me. :lol:

Fair enough on the Rak'Shor prodigy. I was confused on what it did and thought it did more than it does.

On night hex, it seems to be working now. Sorry.

Didn't know there were error dump errors. I will avoid posting any I find. Sorry.

AN *IMPORTANT* BUG WITH THE "DRAGONEERING" QUESTLINE

There was a bug with "finishing the Dragoneering plotline", simply put. I would like to patch that out right now, but I'm already knee-deep in implementing my next, VERY special update...
I'm REALLY sorry about this-- It's embarrassing even because of all the effort and hard work people must have been putting into... Well, absolutely NO pay-off! This time, I AM going to have a hotfix for when you enter the Wilderness, so this patch WILL be retroactive on characters. Sorry for inconvenience-- Bear with me-- This is... Well, A LOT for one guy to take care of all on his own...

PS: A SPECIAL thanks to the guys in the Spoiler thread for helping me to discover (and realize) this (Kamani, noppa354, and Steven Aus). The bug was pretty obvious once it was pointed out.

Oh, minor, self-inflictable error: you can vault the Tome of Dragoneering.

Update: Dragon Heritage is STILL breaking.

... It seems the bug with Multihued Drake Scales has reemerged. I'm putting my foot down on this bug: I intend to use a VERY brute-force solution to make sure it NEVER happens again-- It WILL be gone in the next update, I ASSURE you.

Hydra's Corrupted Sigh has no visual effect, which is somewhat inconvenient for a lingering AoE effect.
