What next? Also, Necromancer question

#1 Post by NemesisZeru »

So far, I've done all the T1s, and all the T2s except Nur(I think? Maze, Sandworm, Daikara/Rift, Tunnels, Compound(if those two count) Old Forest). Heck, even finally managed to beat Urkis. :3

My next quest is for Dreadfell, but at lvl.21, I'm not sure I'm a high enough level to do it. So...where else should I go? I can't remember finding any other places besides the ones I listed. @_@

Also, where do I find all 4 peices of Necromancer lore? I only have 1 so far.

Edit: Can't even do Nur. I drown before I get to the stairs on the first floor, even with +50 air. :/

How are you running out of air that quickly?
Are you running around with Stone Vines or something?

At that level you can do anything you can find except the ancient elven ruins. So go explore and see what you can find. Just watch out if you get the absolute terror level warning.

The necro lore is completely random.

I...forgot about Stone Vines. AGAIN. Goddammit. xP

On my last life(at least for 3 more levels), and doing the Halfling complex. Hopefully I can unlock Yeeks before dying, at least. xP

So, to get Necromancers, I need to find all 4 lore on one character, THEN kill the Necromancer? Seems super-random, then. :/

A question for unlocking the Corruptors. What level is that, even? I've never gone to the Mark of the Spellblaze, so for all I know it's like a lvl.5 thing I coulda done in the beginning. x3

Mark of the spellblaze has enemies scaling start at level 25. You can do it at 21/22 similar, but it's difficult. Every enemy is effectively a spellcaster, and the terrain is similar to the style found in trollmire, so there's lots of open areas where they get line of sight on you.

As for the unlock, remember that you either need to be shalore, or have 10 or more talents that say 'is: a spell'.

Ah...not as much Stone Warden spells as I thought count as spells, apparently. Do equipped items with abilities count towards this? I have a few abilities from items(Displacement shield, arcane eye, barrier)?

I... honestly, don't know. A lot count as both spell and wild gift, and you can always juggle points if need be. 10 or more spells when you fight the boss trips a conversation, used to earn the unlock.

Alrighty, then. If not, suppose it can't be helped.

Managed to finish Nur and the fortress, only to find out I'm ONE Necromancer lore short. Profound sadness. xP

Looks like I might have to do the graveyard anyways. I did Infinite Dungeon, Golem Graveyard and Nur, so the only places I have left are Mark of the Spellblaze, Dreadfell, and the Graveyard, I guess. xP

Edit: got the Corruptor quest! Guess I had enough talents. x3

If it counts as both a spell and a wild gift, it counts as a spell.
Talents that activate when you activate and item don't count.

Have you done the Temporal Rift yet?

Also, graveyard can be worse then dreadfell, due to the almost guaranteed out of depth spawns.

Yeah, I did. While a little annoying, wasn't as bad as I expected.

Eh? Which Graveyard do you mean? There's 2, I suppose. @_@

Anyways, sadly my Stone Warden died in Dreadfell, but I unlocked a bunch of new stuff to play with, so it's all good. I feel like lvl.26 was a bit early to go in, though. >.>;

Reading lore in the Fortress library also counts, so technically you just need to find the lore once across all your characters.
