Draconian race

Re: Draconian race
yeah, I posted a fixed version that should address this. will work even on existing characters just fine.
Re: Draconian race
Thanks for the quick fix, it's working.
Is there some temporal-like dragon type? ;p As a Paradox mage I keep getting frost/lighting/fire dragons whose breath scales of willpower and mental crit ;/

Re: Draconian race
I can neither confirm nor deny that one or more temporal style dragons are in the works.
I used a weighted bias on the random roll based on user class so that classes generally get something useful. unfortunately that means some classes like paradox mages (who would actually benefit some from the earth type dragon) don't usually get anything good.

Re: Draconian race
are adventurers still completely random?
Re: Draconian race
Adventurers would use the same base set that most classes have which is most commonly fire, cold, or lightning with rare chance at others.

Re: Draconian race
I take it that the race flags both Draconic prodigies as eligible choices on reaching 30?
Re: Draconian race
o geez, was just going to release a new version and noticed this XD
Re: Draconian race
New version
You can now choose your dragon type when you pickup an item acquired from the first boss.
This process is at least partly configured for:
sun paladins
wyrmics
oozemancers
anorithils
archmages
arcane blades
shadowblades
solipsists
mindslayers
doomed
alchemists
druids
Basically you are presented with a simple choice(or multiple choices) and have the option of allowing the game to randomly choose your type(which can include more powerful subclass specific types)

Re: Draconian race
Anorithils produce an Error when you attempt to embrace your heritage. The menu pops up as normal, with no options aside from the randomize one, then upon clicking the randomize option theres an error, which when passed returns to the menu screen and it locks the game down. Only able to quit via Force Quit.
Re: Draconian race
Yeah so basically I called the dark type dragon dark in one place and darkness in another... will patch shortly.
Also going to change the dialog to be tied to an on use ability and give the option to cancel. Will prevent you getting stuck in the chat.

Re: Draconian race
Can you make it so that the meteor-type and void-type choices are availible for the werebeast custom class?
Since void has a stun (plus grats infravision) and meteor has a bleed effect (which is good for getting hate).

Re: Draconian race
Going to add them to list for razor which is pure bleed melee focused.

Re: Draconian race
Can you add support for the addon class empyreal which is a light and dark damaging mage-like class.
