Make rest wait for recharging items
Many usable items are ignored by rest, meaning I have to sit there and hold 5 until they're ready to go. This is slightly annoying, and worse, potentially dangerous if something should happen to wander into my range while waiting. I assume this isn't deliberate, but if it is can somebody tell me the reasoning behind it?

You mean items that operate on their own power, not the general charm cooldown?CaptainTrips wrote:Many usable items are ignored by rest, meaning I have to sit there and hold 5 until they're ready to go.
Seconded, please add them to the second rest instance, that which checks talents.

Thirded. Also it'd be convenient to rest for a set number of turns sometimes.

And talents on autocast also should go to zero during rest

MADNESS rocks

These would be quite nice quality of life boosts, and remove one of those things that can leave a 'clunky' feel if you notice them early.

Okay, I'm starting to think we might ought to add this to the FAQ or something...Infinitum wrote:Thirded. Also it'd be convenient to rest for a set number of turns sometimes.

Re: Make rest wait for recharging items
OK, I decided to put in a bit of work and figure this out myself. After bumbling around cluelessly for an inordinate amount of time, I finally managed to steal a suitable snippet from the code base and cobble together a working addon. I decided to add the check to a third instance of rest instead of including it with the talent cooldowns. This can be changed easily enough if need be. Take it for a spin and let me know if you run into any issues:
