[1.0] stone warden won't load well.

Actually it loads but after load completed it only shows black screen and plays music.

I can't open any menu or interface even closing application.
All I can do is force quit Tome4.

try to link save file but board allows only 256K or below
so I can't include save file.

I'm playing with 1.0.0 for Mac OSX 10.6+
Not good at english. but loves this game :)

Hum you'll need to get me the game log, but I have no idea how to get it on OSX; anybody can point to how please ?

Similar problem here also except I'm Win7.

Game takes forever to load now and when it does it runs very slow (my comp is no slouch either) and then eventually just crashes out on me. Also, the beginning archmage quest is very similar in that there is a huge noticeable slowdown.

*Well, I tried to paste te4_log.txt in code brackets but it was too large for a post and apparently the file was too large to attach also. Any other ideas?

Pastebin is pretty useful for text based stuff.

I think there's a few better services (PB doesn't preserve formatting, iirc), but I can't recall 'em off the top of my head.

That whole log file is probably huge, and the only relevant stuff will be near the end. Just grab the last couple of thousand lines, via cut+paste or "tail -2000 te4_log.txt > mylog.txt" if you're terminal savvy.

Ok. So, I decided to re-extract the whole game folder. Behold... game runs flawlessly, smoothly, beautifully. On a whim decide to let my Stone Warden die. Exit to main. Then exit fully. Game crashes often on me when I press Exit.

Snipped logfile from around time of death to crash. Possibly the animated background thingy causing this? It almost never exits out cleanly. The mouse will show the spinning blue circle. I always have to click the screen to get it to complete the crash to windows. Also to consider is why a new game folder extract makes it run flawless? Too big of a logfile? Possible corruption?

** Disabled backgrounds, created char and played around and let him die eventually. Exited out completely. Everything responded as it should. Restarted and re-enabled background then created another random char until death do us part, which it did, exited into the crash again. Suppose I'll be keeping backgrounds off for now. Kinda liked em tho. Ah well.

if game log means chracacter's save file? it's in application support folder.

anyway If I try load my stone warden 5~8 more time and It ocassionaly successfully loaded.
he died at somewhere. (I don't remember)

but strangely when I try to load my another character. I saw he is still alive. so I played again with that and died at caldera.
and this time he is perfrectly dead.
Not good at english. but loves this game :)

On windows version if you load a Stone Warden's save file without the news loading up on the left it will crash without fail. Could this just be what happens in the same circumstance on the osx version?
