Time Shield + Time Prison bug... or awesome?
The archmage shields have had their numbers tweaked in the SVN, so they may start being used again. I found this interesting loophole, though. When Time Shield breaks you get hit with one round of self-damage. Hit yourself with Time Prison (click the yes I am sure I want to target myself) and then voila you wake up X rounds latter and skipped the other rounds of self-damage. I think it would be interesting to have the player object actually removed and added to the game after the effect ends, and have the effect stored on an replacement object. I believe edge2054 is doing the same thing for one of his Chronomancy talents, but I cannot remember the name.

Yeah, Time Skip. Which is basically my take on Time Prison because I saw how easy Time Prison was to abuse in certain cases.
Granted, Time Prison is (now) a Top Tier talent in a tree you don't start off with access too so some of the more creative uses for it make sense. Also I'm pretty sure when you come out of your Prison you're at zero energy so casting Time Prison on yourself isn't always the greatest idea.
Yufra, try casting Time Prison on yourself in the middle of a fight when you need to cycle some stuff off cooldown

It is true, it probably isn't the most effective strategy... maybe a Time Shield -> Teleport -> Time Prison would be a better exploit.
