Wands of Healing

When activated a wand of healing requires that you choose a target. However choosing an escort has no effect. Either it should affect the escort or automatically target the player.

Also, the reult of the wand (the healing) doesn't accur until the end of the player's round - so you'll choose to zap the wand, get hit by everyone, and then be asked to choose a target. Not nice for something as vital as healing.

Actually, all wands have this turn "delay", that their effect works after the turn ends. I thought that in previous betas this was countered by wearing the wands (slotted belts, right?). But now, since the slots aren't of any use anymore, there should be a way to work around this wand delay... most of the times wands aren't that useful just because of that, specially healings or teleports.

And what happens if you cancel the cast? That's surely a pain.

Maybe each wand could have a magic requirement to achieve a fast casting. Or remove the delay entirely.

And add some numerical values in the description, - like runes and infusions have.

Not all wands have the delay. Wands of teleportation, for example, are activated instantly. I haven't noticed any problems healing escorts with a wand of healing, though sometimes the tooltip of the target doesn't update immediately. After using the wand, use the look command and try targeting the NPC, targeting your character, and then targeting the NPC again to see if the tooltip is updated.

Ah, okay - well then the tooltip not updating is a bug :P
