Hate to report this as a bug, as it's really satisfying to see those orc patrols get effed up and start to wander around like retards on the world map

Gloom works on world map
Going along with all the reports of being able to smack roaming monsters and patrols on the world map, Gloom works as well!

On the other hand, it might be nice to have your "charge up over time" autosmite power actually apply to the monsters you can actually fight.

Re: Gloom works on world map
Heh, yeah that too. I only ever invested 1 point in that talent, as the payoff is so low. Only worth it to advance to the higher skills. It's not a terrible amount of damage, but once every 20 turns to hit a single mob is just not worth it.

Re: Gloom works on world map
Eh? it's not as bad as it looks. Consider:
- Once every 20 turns is not the same as once every 20 turns of combat. If you're walking around much between fights, for example, it provides a delightful chaser for your Blindside alpha strike
- it's will-dependent.
- it takes no actions. It's just free damage on top of whatever else you're doing.
- it's the only thing you have other than the life drain aura that can reliably damage things that you can't reliably hit with a melee weapon.
Or, to put it another way, I've gotten it on my non-rampage Cursed, and been quite happy with it. I suppose if I was intending to max the rampage tree, I might find it not worth the points, but if you have some points to spare and are going to be maxxing your will anyway, it's a solid place to put them.

Re: Gloom works on world map
I've passed up a fix for gloom. I just turned off the effects on the world map so it will continue to display.
