[r1920] No ego in vault

I have found a vault on tempest peak, in which no item is ego or better.
Does this imply a bug or my pure bad luck?

Just bad luck... i think it's possible for vaults to determine ego status of items but most just increase the item level and let ego ride on the RNG.

I don't source dive, so I wouldn't know for sure if there are certain vaults that are always generated with at least one ego item, but they often are such pains for often lackluster rewards that I've been actively avoiding them. Pile on top of that the massive slowdown and the game freezes from that odd emperor wight bug (with the negative mana regen?) they're far more trouble than anything.

I think they could use some beefing up, but again that's just IMHO.

Also it may be possible that you got a better material item as the "ego" item, like dwarven-steel, or galvorn...

It depends on the vault and what the ego chance is set at. If it's set at 100 then what you experienced is a bug. If it's set at less then that it's just bad luck.
