Maybe for other undead races have a cemetery area, completely optional like ruins are, has two "subdungeons" (or more if more undead races are planned to be unlockable), say a "Broken Catacombs" for wights and a "Defiled Chapel" for vampires? Go in each, go down to bottommost level, kill the boss and you unlock the race. Should be very hard but still doable.
Having satellite internet is a lot like relying on the processes described in those RFC's for your internet. Except, instead of needing to worry about statues interrupting your connection, this time you worry about the weather. I have satellite internet. Fun, no?

Related to the Master idea, what if beating the Master x times with a warrior class unlocks ghouls, x times with an archer class unlocks skeletons, rogues for wights and mages for vampires when they're implemented?

A couple more ideas to toss out:

1.
(a) Unlock skeletons when you kill the Shade.
(b) Unlock skeletons when you are killed by the Shade. (this is how I unlocked them anyway :-) )

2. Unlock ghouls when you have suffered a certain amount of blight damage.

I've gotten both pyro/cryo mancers unlocked with a random generated archmage. I knew I was getting close, but I unlocked both with the same character (well... two, I just recreated it, it was one then the next). Once I get some play time in with both, I'll have a good review of them, along with what the tempest class should kind of be like.
