Copy the profile directory inside your home/T-Engine/4.0/ directory.

Future releases will have online profiles active so taht such things do not happen, the profiles will be sync'ed with te4.org server :) (If you want to)

So anybody able to spill the beans on how to unlock the new *mancer classes? Anyone found a new race yet?

The *mancer classes can be unlocked in one of the orc prides in the Far East. You have to grind the zone a bit and with some luck you will find a Tome that gives you either pyromancy or cryomancy. I cannot remember which pride off the top of my head, though.

Is it a drop that looks like a scroll? Do only the pyro/cryomancers-elite versions of these drop them? I really want to check those two classes out, and I think I've downed well over 100 of each and still no sign of a 'How to be an elemental badass' book.

Thanks

The drop will look like a scroll when using the tiles, and a violet "?" otherwise. It may actually be easier to see in ASCII format for now. Otherwise it is not limited to any specific type of creature other than it is rare and thus will be more likely to show up on higher lvl guys. (if I remember the rarity forumla correctly)

So what is the reaver unlock, out of curiosity? I'd presumed it was an east thing because so many of the unlocks are, but now it clearly isn't since it's doing something a certain number of times. Getting diseases or other debuffs?

Since it's the spoilers section:
Kill 1000 humanoids, this can be over multiple games, so eventually this will unlock for everybody as they play

Correct. Could just head over to the maze as soon as possible, maybe take a traipse down into the merchy dungeon too. Shouldn't take too long if you survive, heh. Though... I aint got it yet :/
Having satellite internet is a lot like relying on the processes described in those RFC's for your internet. Except, instead of needing to worry about statues interrupting your connection, this time you worry about the weather. I have satellite internet. Fun, no?

Does orc count as humanoid or is it strictly "human"? I'm asking because including orcs it shouldn't take long to unlock the reavers anymore...

Orcs are humanoids (but trolls are not)
Note: the type/subtype shows up in the tooltip ;)

How are cryo/pyromancers different from archmages?

I really like the way Reavers unlock. They aren't available from the beginning, but you WILL eventually be able to use them. I prefer this way to unlocking through quests/items a lot, since its possible to have played the game a ton and never come across the quest or item. (Except the Archmage class quest. that one is impossible to miss.)

With that in mind, I'd like it if some of the classes have alternate ways to unlock, such as using enough of certain talents (use enough fire/cold spells to unlock the pyro/cyromancer), or using enough of certain items (Scrolls of light for the sun paladin? Scrolls of darkness for Anorithil?)

I think this is a nice way of letting people unlock things over time without making it impossible for the less skilled or patient players.

On a side note, I have never unlocked the pyro/cyromancers, the sun paladin, or the anorithil. :P
