Log files under Mac OSX

Log files under Mac OSX

Are log files stored by default? If so, where do they go? When I am debugging my module I usually launch the T-Engine application directly from the terminal so that I can see the stdout instead of double-clicking on the application icon.

They go in the terminal ;)
I doubt OSX creates a terminal log for all running apps ?
