I think at times we (or, more accurately, me) seem to complain about the bugs more than thank the programmer (although he wants to know the bugs)...

So, thank you!

Actually, I just tried beta 6 and the graphics with the tiles, like the forest is really nice. I thought there was additional water effects, but I don't see them for some reason. Also, I have tended to kill off characters and then say "I'm not playing again". I know, sore sport. However, I keep coming back to play a new character type and find it wildly amusing, even after I die. There is some great flavor to the different classes and characters - great job with that!

I know it was mentioned, but if you can let us select the starting stat points and skills/talents, it would be nice, but it's not too bad actually. Also, I have gotten used to the skills vs talents, it gives a better-balanced character, but takes away (albeit slight) from specialization....

Awesome job though! This is much more replayable than Angband, or previous ToME's, at least for me.

Right after I wrote that, my archmage fell to 127 damage trap in Amon Sul. Yikes! Back to the drawing board...

That, my friend, is something you'll never want to say if you suspect the RNG is listening, which it aparently did, hence you dieing...
