Mac beta 3 not the same as PC beta 3?

A little while ago, I reported that a bug that DG said he'd fixed was still occuring in beta 3 on the Mac, and DG expressed great dismay.

I just had a look at the list of beta 3 fixes/changes on the blog, and a lot there seems to be missing from my Mac experience: no difficulty levels, no content after Tol Falas, I have died in the Tol Falas ambush (I made it through the second time thanks to the blood of life ), etc. So I wonder if "Mac beta 3" is really just beta 2 with fixed savefiles?

I suppose there could have been a packaging issue.
Damn I hate macs with their weird formats I cannot even read let alone create myself :/

Beta3 was still not playable on my OSX version (10.5.. Not sure if it is supposed to, but would be nice!
