Doing a video of gameplay on Ubuntu

Anyone know of a program that would let me do a gameplay video on Ubuntu? I've tried xvidcap, but it looks all messed up when I look at the video.

I'm a taker too!
i'd liek to post some examples of my extended particles engine taht can now project a shield around the player for spells like displacement/time/disruption shield ;:)

It looks like I needed to disable xdamage in XVidCap.

Edit: I just finished a test video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rWf8oY92OJs
I need to figure out how to get rid of that odd clicking noise.

It would be cool if I could add audio commentary to it.
