How do I see the high scores?

Is there a way I see my high scores, besides when my character dies?

Most of the town halls and similar let you "view race legends" which amounts to a high scores list, but this will be just for your own characters which have tried and died. Someone will post a link to the site which has a ladder for all the various variants of Angband/ToME but I'm late for work already ... bye

You can submit your characters here, and see what other people have played. This site also has some spoilers (artifacts and I think monsters) for ToME and most other Angband variants.

I think he (or at least I am) more interested in being able to view the high scores data of my installation.
Normally when you quit the game it only shows you the 15 ranks around your current position. And the "view race legends" in the town halls is no good because each list is filtered by race.

What I really want is a way to view the complete high scores list, over all ranks, and not filtered by anything.

There is the scores.raw file (in lib/apex) but this does contain my current character, and is not really human readable.

I believe that ^X will do a "save and quit", and show the highscores in the process. There may be other ways to view the highscores without quitting, too.
