I am using the Quick keys and finding them very useful...

I now have 11 spells and have a problem when trying to use a Quick key for the 11th spell.

The 11th spell is noted as being RIGHTPAREN and I can't get it to work. I have to resort to the 'm' key to cast it.

That's why there is an interface to bind keys ? ;) as in well any other modern games ;>

I noticed that potions act funny sometimes when bound... rotating number amounts and whatnot... was a while ago though that I noticed so no error logs, sorry.

I just lost the 'w', 'e', 'i', 'd' keys again. It was after I identified a Staff. 3rd level of the Trollshaws! Do you want the Save file?

lol! I just played a dwarven rogue... somehow the game failed to generate me up some daggers... :/

(and again after I restarted the game)

Yes, as I've explained some race/class combo just cant get equipment becuase of starting stats. I'll fix it :)

here is an example of a potion messup with the quick-keys:

the number of lesser healings I have is 4, the number displayed is 3...


what happened before was I put up an unid'd stack ( I knew it was lesser healing though) and the number was randomly shuffled around.

how about this as a "fix" to the no equipment thing.

- dont give equipment until they are done adjusting their starting stats/spells (EDIT: oh yeah... and dont give them full health/stamina/magic till after this too)

then you have several options here:
a) spend a few of their starting stats to bring up their stats to the necessary amount
b) make it so they can wield the starting equipment, just less effectively
c) make rusty/wooden/broken equipment, that does some damage or protection, but requires only 2 of that stat.

not sure how to fix the no light/potions though... what are the conditions for giving them?
- i know there should be no condition, but starting a new character with the same name as an old one often generates no light or potions for me.
