hi all! - silly question but how do I use a pick again?

Im back

I actually played mangband for a bit, it has a really nice bunch of people that play multiplayer even though its quite quiet, anyway I learned a bit about macros and now when I came back to tome I went a sorceror again except this time I went a dark elf, I seem to be doing much better however I can for the life of me figure out how to dig a pick into rubble and also how do I refill my lantern with oil?

Anyway hope the forum is recovering well from the hack that happened a while back, why anyone would want to do this place damage is beyond me but such is life I guess!

I'm doing heaps of cisco at the University and I still new to it all so it takes a fair bit of studying, that being said I have put heaps of time in and did well on an assesment there so I am treating myself to some TOME - Doesn't say much for my Uni that they take on people who cant use a pick axe nor turn on a light but hopefully people will keep that one quiet hehe

'w'ield a pick in your tool slot and then 'T'unnel to the direction of the rubble.

You can 'F'uel a lantern with the F key.

Press '?' for the in-game help which has a list of all the commands.

Good to see Im not the only one , its just with being away from it for a while, that being said I am getting back into it again and actually doing better now. My poblem is Im not cautious enough, what I try to do is scum the entrys with a tad higher level mob to exp faster and I use the sorc damage output as a justification. I need to get more of a game balance though where I can stay alive longer plus know when to stop descending and fo how long to grind the semi safe lvls.

I will get there hopefully

Know how you feel there. Not being cautious enough has claimed more than one of my characters.

I used to feel the same way about the forum ranking systems. Right up until I was made an Admin and gave myself the custom title. I think I'd be a Vala right now. 1500 posts is the last ranking, which is Greater Vala.
