Our own feathin has made a discovery that I feel that all members, old and new, should be made aware of. As you all know, registering on the ToME forums is completely optional, as is posting on the forums. This is not our complaint.

But there is one thing that feathin found that will not be tolerated on the ToME forums. When one registers for the site, one is able to set a homepage in your profile. Well, what feathin found was that many users (nearly 200 in fact) have set their homepage to sites that are either pornographic in nature or contain advertising. Pornography in any form will not be tolerated on the forums, and neither will puttting up sites that advertise. Since there are so many users that have done this, I am now in the process of a massive cleansing, if you will, of the users that have set these kinds of sites as their homepages. Any of the origional users that feathin has PM'd to me that have those kinds of sites are being deleted from the ToME database.

If any of you that have not been deleted have sites of this nature, you are greatly encouraged to either delete the site from your profile or setting a new site as your homepage. Any user that is found to have a site containing questionable content from the posting of this message will be deleted. You have been warned.

To the rest of the users of the ToME forum, continue the good work and keep this site, as well as the wiki, active and growing.
