T-Plus vs. Norseband--where to go next?

Drop T-Plus ASAP; it's just a 'halfway measure' that annoys theme purists.

Keep the module as it is (other than bugfixes); I think variety and fun are more important than strict adherence to a theme.

Develop two or more modules in parallel, as long as the themes are kept strictly apart.

T-Plus and Norseband in parallel: good or bad?

#1 Post by ISNorden »

Now that my module has begun a new development branch, I feel uncertain about its future: should I keep a version of T-Plus maintained after Norseband can be coded the way I want it, or should I abandon the 'eclectic variant' approach in favor of one theme only? I realize that different people have different opinions and experiences, but would prefer to hear from those who have actually played my work.

I think you should concentrate on Norseband rather than maintain two different *bands. I really like T-Plus, but I don't think there are that many new things that won't fit into ToME or Norseband. What I really would like to see is some of the things in T-Plus being implemented in ToME.
In short, just fix/balance T-Plus and leave it as it is after that.
Stronk is a potent combatant with a terrifying appearance.

I hope ToME Plus stays, maintained by someone else if not you.

ToME Plus is a nice outlet for a lot of the things that are disappearing in ToME.
