[1.7.6] Tiles.lua:96: attempt to index a nil value

Just bought the game on Steam (no extra addons installed / downloaded).

Whenever I create a character, exit to main menu or close the game, then attempt to reload the save file I get the following error:

Steps to reproduce:
1. Launch game
2. Start new game
3. Create character
4. Save and exit to main menu
5. Load save file

Attempted fixes:
- Run game as administrator
Running the game as administrator prevented a bug that caused all rendered tiles to appear black but did not prevent the crash.
- Run using ASCII graphics
Does not crash but I would like the option to play with tileset.
- Delete C:\Users\{USER}\T-Engine\4.0\tome\save\world.teaw
No observed change
- Remove addons
Had no addons to begin with

Usually downloading and using the standalone version from the homepage (https://te4.org/download) circumvents the crash
Friendly Neighbourhood Moderator, moan at me for a teleport if ya get stuck.
