Encountered this error when entering into an Ambush. Time flies by and the game is unresponsive to movement or hotkey commands. Attempting to move yields something along the lines of "Ran for 1 turn (stop reason: didn't move)", it's difficult to read as time is flying by.
Is there a way to recover my character from this state?

Usually if you're stuck in the "time void", as in time passes by at an extreme speed it means your character didn't load into the level for some reason. Most of the time this can be recovered from with a simple mod tp, so just call for a mod in the ingame chat or ping us on ToME discord and whoever's around will teleport you out
Friendly Neighbourhood Moderator, moan at me for a teleport if ya get stuck.
