From Death, Life - Lichform Bug

I haven't been playing all that long, and this is my first run through with a necromancer so I'm not certain if this is a bug, or if I'm just doing something wrong. I'm pretty sure it's a bug though.

I have completed the From Death, Life quest, and my quest log states that it is "done." I have received the free talent point in Lichform. I have never activated the talent, and have not died since completing the quest. I have increased in level from 20 to 21 and now have a talent point to spend on "Lichform" however the requirement to finish the quest is now in red and it isn't allowing me to invest any talent points in Lichform. All other requirements are green (and thus met).

so you are saying that requirement is "exactly" 20, and not "at least" 20?

Yes, the original requirement is 20, and you can improve it at 21, 22, 23, 24. I found out what the problem was though - I was wearing a belt of unlife - which treated me as being undead and therefore unqualified for it.

This has also happened to my character! Who is a prototype character that did not have the quest "From Death, Life" pop up after activating blurred mortality. How can I fix? Was looking forward to becoming a lich but now ive killed Celia already and no heart!

Please do not necro very old threads and rather make a post of your own if you run into a bug.

Anyway, as far as your issue goes, currently only Necromancers can get the quest needed to make Celia's heart drop. This will be changed in 1.7.3 to anyone with 5 points in Blurred Mortality.
