What items are worthy of a build?

In your opinion, which items items in this game that are worth building an entire new character around?

I'm not sure they're as impressive as I think they are (new to this game), but looking at Spellhunt Remnants gloves made me want to make an anti-magic nature build. When fully upgraded, it has:
34-46 unarmed dmg, 40% Cun, 40% Dex, 40% Str
18 armor pen
12% crit chance
+8 armor

+100 life
+10 CUN/WIL
+12 Mindpower
+15 spellsave
+25% Nature Res Pen
+25% Nature dmg

Mana Clash L3, 15% chance on hit
Aura of Silence L3, 15% chance on hit
Attempts to remove all magic sustains from creatures in radius 5 cone, dealing 100+Mindpower dmg to magical creatures and stunning them

Aetherwalk comes to mind as centerpiece of a specific build.
