It's great, I just think that a Yeek would be too frail to make use of it in most cases.

This was a great guide. I managed to get my first Nightmare win with this. Only died once and it was because I got super cocky after I killed Gorbat from offscreen, that I lost track of my heroism infusion and let a multi-color drake kill me.

I lucked out and got a really amazing bow that synergized super well the TARDIS armor. Managed to get my first win against Atamathon and Linaniil too.

I'd planned on having something for the offhand, but I never found anything that was worth it. This was the first time I'd really used Writ Large and pumped up Grisly Constitution. It definitely helped me get out of more than a couple of jams. Gave me a much better appreciation for what Ogres are capable of.

Hi Bpat-I'm using this currently to try something new besides my usual melee and its pretty fun. Trying Shalore.
Question-I see on your winner you have 5/5 in Thick Skin but only 28 points in Constitution. It looks as though that would require 59 points in Con no?

Hi Zion, stat bonuses from gear allow you to take talents and continue to gain the benefit even when you would no longer qualify. The implication is that Bpat put on +31 worth of bonus constitution gear but wasn't using it as the character's main gear set.

I see-So it's having wearing Con gear when doing the level up then? Seems like a lot of figuring....

why put points into Magic, especially over Cunning?

This guide suggests taking Arcane Might. Cunning gives 15% crit chance from 50 points and doesn't do much else. With Arcane Might, magic essentially becomes as good as strength for archer, thus outclassing all the other stats besides dex. Of course things are different with sling archer, but this isn't sling archer.

Speaking of which, two alternate spreads which have served me well.

1. DEX>STR>CON>CUN, but only as Shalore with Conditioning and Spine of the World.
UFR+Spine+Movement+Timeless=almost no need for a physical Wild at all. You'll probably still want one in higher difficulties though.

2. DEX>STR>WIL>CUN, but as Thalore with Antimagic and Superpower. This spread has already been covered, but the reasoning?
-Racials+Resolve+AMS=Less times for Trained Reactions to go off. If you take Fungus, you also have great healing to back it up.
-WIL factors in more than just racials and the prodigy. You have a bigger Stamina pool to shred for the mobility tree/stuff like Blinding Speed and big EQ for AMS.
-Since you can't take Storm Fury or whatever, there are some really nice bow egos are there for Zigurites which boost either one of your wildgift trees.
-You can betray Sun Paladins for points in Disengage and Evasion, though everything but Alchemist is also nice.

This most likely makes for a good Sling build too due to Mindpower, but you want DEX>CUN>WIL you may want to replace Superpower with Windtouched Speed or something. I guess you could also take Krog, but Thalore has more allres which tends to work better (plus I think drake bloods bonus damage doesn't work with your shoot).

EDIT: One more thing. Breath of Eyal is probably the best body armor for Antimagic, since TARDIS/Ancient robe is out. Most other choices are either unused by Archer including merchant randarts or are Arcane, and the allres Antimagic bonus stacks in well. Only issue is the unusually high Fatigue, but at endgame you don't really care that much about Disengage range.

I guess you could also use Evermoss Robe for the poison and mental boosts. The other choices are almost bad enough to consider wearing Plate instead, then you could take Plate of the Blackened Mind or the Kroltar set while sacrificing half of the Mobility tree.

you may need to put points into the other stats for unlocks and gear. But if you are not aiming for something specific, it's fine to max them in order.

Thoughts on taking windtouched speed if going antimagic? I am pretty noob at this point but +20% global speed seems really good.
