Arcane Amplification Drone and the Alchemist Golem

I picked up AAD for my first prodigy as an alchemist because of bombs. Two weird things happened and I'm unsure whether they're bugs or not:

1. The golem and the drone appear to have a history with each other or something, because they're mortal enemies. The golem will immediately try to attack the drone as if it were an enemy. The golem doesn't really have anything that can trigger the drone either way, which is actually a good thing because...

2. While my bombs can't hurt the golem, the drone's ripple can. Slinging around 750+ damage bombs means this destroys it in one hit, putting the AAD in a spot where it can really only be used when the golem is dead.
