Okay, so character presently has 1 negative status:
Fed upon, which I don't think actually applies any disads and is just prep for certain types of skills? I dunno, because it does not say anything it is doing.
From some source, I have -50ish health regen (turning my character's 20 health regen into -35)...which is then getting multiplied by my heal mod for more pain.
I have no idea where this is from because whatever is applying it (and something is) is not putting any status of any kind on me to understand it. I can't use certain boosters there since it makes it worse. Maybe the status is on one of the god parts, but the fight has moved far enough from them that I can't even hover over them to see.
Done with the fight now, but it was enormously confusing. Usually there's a very visible status ailment that's clear of what's going on.

Re: [1.6.4] Massive negative health regen during High Priest
This didn't stick around btw. When I died it was gone, when I came back, it stayed gone...until the fight proceeded a little bit and it showed up again. Was gone after the priest died. Perhaps it was fed upon, but in that case, so very painful that it has no status desc whatsoever (just that you're being fed upon) and was such a powerful effect.
It's always weird when negative health regen gets massive multiplied to begin with too

Yes, this is Fed Upon from the talent Feed, but only if the actor with it also has the talent Dark Sustenance. You can also be Fed Upon without losing your regeneration if they don't have that talent. Agree that it could be easier to parse at a glance.
Re: [1.6.4] Massive negative health regen during High Priest
Sigh, almost certain I've tripped over that before. Yeah, be great if it was visible (somewhere/anywhere) without reading every talent every enemy had going on.
It makes for a really unfortunate match though with Embers. One of the handful of end-tinker supers is Unstoppable Force, and if you have it, you're likely to use it at the start of any major encounter, for the massive save and regen boost. This ends up turning it into a pretty serious detriment, since it boosts your natural health regen multiplier greatly.
Is this https://te4.org/wiki/Dark_sustenance_(category) devour life? Cuz that doesn't read either in a way that says it's affecting natural regen. I'd assume it would just be an effect visible on the user and target (Dealing x damage for devoured life, healing x damage for devoured life). Grumble if I'm looking at the right place, because then even reading the talent wouldn't make this clear.
I suppose it's just awkward as one of the very few things anywhere that meddle with natural health regen of other characters AND lacks any way to stop it instead of just being Damage over Time while being fed upon (which wouldn't be dramatically worse for folks with high con or regen who...really should be the least affectected to 'I ate some of your healing'). Is there others I'm forgetting? Lifelock blocks healing and other things redirect it, but not thinking of other things that maul natural regen.
Mmm... There really is a small handful (maybe a dozen) abilities that all are:
You're anywhere near this character (player or enemy), you get passive disad. Saving throws don't work of any kind. Defense doesn't work of any kind. You cannot purge or heal the effect using any type of thing. The only real option is to Kill or escape from the source.
Most stat or power deteriments. There's recently the Negative Stats Don't Go Away one.
Dunno a good answer but they're a bit awkward in a way that the blade storms and mana storms aren't (since those usually lock to an area, rather than come with you as the fight goes)
