Do resistances apply before or after shields

Experimenting with an archmage. Do resistances apply before or after damage shields? What about other types of shield? Does armour apply before or after them?

armour happens VERY early in calculation. resistance happens before shields. for full list, follow this link : http://forums.te4.org/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=47993
