So I lost all of my character records ...

Back when I first started playing TOME it was the non-Steam version. I quickly purchased the game after my first win and from that time on I logged in through Steam. I have been playing that way for the last five years or so. Earlier this week I downloaded the 1.6 beta (not through Steam) and started playing. I wanted my account linked, and in the process of doing that I linked my Steam account to my original te4.org account. I thought my wins from my Steam account would transfer to my te4 account, but in fact it did the reverse. Now I have lost all of my characters from the past five years. Is there anything I can do to get those back? It isn't the end of the world, but I do like going back to see my wins from time to time.

Okay, I'm puzzled that you didn't link account instantly. But anyway

How much time have you given it to sync the two accounts? It can be quite slow, although I'm not sure how it handles a two way sync.

Also, what do you mean by "lost all of my characters from the past five years"? What exactly do you want back? Just the win records?

I should have linked the two accounts when I first purchased the Steam version, no doubt. I had only played a couple of games up to that point and I was auto-logging into my Steam account after that so I never really gave it much thought. When I installed the 1.6 beta, I was unable to login with my Steam credentials, so I had the brilliant idea of linking my two accounts. My brilliant ideas are often, in hindsight, not really all that great

I linked the accounts about five days ago. The only thing I really miss is the grid of winners that can be displayed showing every class and race with an "x" for winners. If I can't get them back I can live with it, I was just hoping there was something easy I could try. I really don't care about losing achievements.

Unfortunately I don't know how that system works and can't remember anything similar happening before.
However, I can't think of any reason that importing completion stats from Steam would override the existing data.
So either you have inexplicably got your account mixed up, or something has gone wrong with the profile sync.
