[1.6 Beta] Ruined Halfling Complex Emergency recall...didn't

I have made a couple of yeek doomed (Yes, I know, I hate living long, fulfilled lives ;) ) The first one I got to the RHC, and chose to flee, and got a nice shortened recall buff, unfortunately subject Z demolished me before those 3 turns could elapse, so I remade the same character, approached much more cautiously chose to flee when prompted.... and no recall buff. Waited a few turns, no recall, and when I manually attempted to recall it was the usual 40 turn wait.

It may be related that when I was prompted to flee, the wayist was on screen, but subject Z was not visible.

I cant seem to reproduce it :/ Did you get the big message saying you hastily activate your rod?

I did, and it has only happened one time despite about a dozen yeek earlygame attempts. Not sure how it happened, but I was clicking through quite fast at the time definitely got the acknowledgement though.
