ToME not working on 2 monitors

Hi,

I've bought ToME about 2 and a half years ago on steam, played quite a while and then went to other games for the time being.
Yesterday I remembered the game and wanted to start some new characters but had quite a strange bug while starting the game:
I'm using 2 monitorsand usually use the left one for playing and the right one for browsing, chatting etc... in the meantime.
When I'm now starting ToME in either Borderless Window or Fullscreenmode, the left Monitor (maindisplay in Windows) goes black while the game appears on the right monitor.
If I move the cursor on the left, black monitor, I can see the buttons on the right screen activating if I hover over the space where they should be, if the game would run on the left monitor.
I can even navigate the menus if I gueass correctly where I should click.
If I try to click on the right screen, the game window on the right vanishes and I can see my desktop as it should be, while the game switches over to the left screen.
There the game is frozen on the frame the right screen was clicked.
If I now click on the left screen, the screen goes black again and the game jumps back to the right monitor and resumes its animation.
Everything works, if I disconnect one monitor, but that isn't really viable over a longer time for me.

This doesn't happen if the game runs in Windowed mode, but then part of the lower UI gets obstructed by the taskbar.

I'm running Windows 10 on this PC:

Intel i5 4670k
Nvidia Geforce GTX 1080 (Driver Version 430.53)
12 GB RAM

Has someone encountered something similar or knows how to fix this?

I don't know how to help but there must be some kind of config since i've been using ToME on 2 monitors with 0 issue for a couple years now.

Windows 10 with worse CPU, GPU and RAM than you.

Hi,

thank you for your reply. I managed to fix the problem by switching my main monitor to the second one and then switching it back in the Windows display settings.

Dunno what was wrong to cause only problems in ToME and not in other games, but it works now.
