Arcane Amplification Drone Spells

Is there a list of the spells that will trigger the AAD effect? Or perhaps just ones that it won't trigger on?

Aether Breach, Aether Beam and Arcane Vortex don't seem to trigger it at all. The way the prodigy is written it seems that all of those should trigger the effect.

Usually, don't expect DoT and ground effect to trigger AAD.

Also don't expect talent that can't friendly fire obviously.

So as long as a necromancer doesn't get the skill making minions immune to the dark spells it will trigger but once they get the skill to that level they won't?

correct, but that only applies to nightfall spells specificly
