I'm not sure why, exactly, but I hear (and experience) that ID500 breaks everything that adds new damage types. I think that, specifically, is what causes it to crash.

Agreed. I still play OotS sometimes when I play ToME, and it remains my favorite addon to this day, and that is unlikely to ever change.

Okay, I have some ideas for improving the Fire-Drake Avatar quest slightly.
Now, this might not be too irksome if you don't read super-fast, but it would be nice to have the Tome of Dragoneering not be so dismissive towards you when you try to get higher-level knowledge if you only read one or two entries in the current section that you may be on. I read really fast, always have. And having to re-read all entries in a section before getting to the quiz for the next level is kind of slow, because usually I just need some knowledge, and not the entire set of entries.

tl;dr: I would like to see some changes made to the ToD for those folks who might have higher than average or lower than average reading speed.

Well, as much as I’d absolutely love to see those changes, nekarcos hasn’t been on in about half a year, so changes might not be coming.
I’d also love to see that too, since it got real annoying until I just had them all memorized, it just probably isn’t happening. It’s a shame, since OotS was and is my favorite ToME addon. I’d love to see nekarcos come back, it just seems unlikely.
