Need advice: Help with equipment

I am currently doing a Nightmare run with a Halfling berserker. I have got a grasp of the basics of the game, although the nitty gritty often still eludes me. I have found the Spectral Blade (127% power, 25 apr) and I wanted to use it because it is unique and the high apr. Yet, I also have a Flaming Steel Greatmaul of Massacra (150%, 2 apr) which offers a +13 fire damage in a radius of 1 on hit. For example when it comes to this pair, I do not know what is a better sword?

This kind of question is more suited to tomechat, or discord, you could wait a long time before getting an answer on forums and can't wait everytime you find new gear.

On weapons the rule of thumb is : more damage = better
Use the maul and keep spectral blade for the blind fight in case you need it, but you'll find better than both very soon (probably should have already tbh, is there nothing in shops ? Did the t2 not drop t3+ weapons?)
