Stone Warden unlock question

#1 Post by smithfield »

I have a registered donation account. I've gotten all of the dlc expansions. But as yet, the Stone Warden class is one of which I've only heard rumors here on this forum. I get the impression that its unlocks when you register/donate. I don't want a spoiler here, I just want to know if there's more to unlocking the class than just 'money' :).

I've seen that some others have had similar troubles, but I can't work out whether I need to talk to one of the admins or what.

Any help is much appreciated.

Stone Warden is part of the base game now and hasn't been a donator-only class since Possessor got released a while ago, Possessor is now the donator-only class. Stone Warden must, however, be unlocked.

From the wiki: "As a Dwarf, have 10 points in both Spell (category type) and Wild-gift (category type). This class must be played as a Dwarf."
"As dying is one of the leading causes of death, you should avoid dying." -rekenner

"I'll bond with a cactus until my buttcheeks touch the sand before I play nethack again" -Gagarin

Thanks!

I just got it unlocked and it didn't take a full 10 points in wild. It might've only required that I get a wild talent. I can't say precisely cause I saved up 11 points and dumped them in all at once.

Anyway, this game is all kinds of awesome although it seems like perpetual information overload in a pleasant sort of way. The joys of being a newbie.

Infusions count as wild gifts iirc, that's probably why you didn't need as many points.
