So Doomelf overrides being a Writhing One in where you start. This makes sense.

Is Kroshkkur completely lost for Doomelfs, or is there a way to go there after you escape the Demons?

My guess is lost, as I'm imagining Point Zero is for Drem Paradox Mages.

Has anyone tried walking back through the tunnel to the Yeek homeland as a Demented Yeek?

On another note - it provisionally appears all the different Portal glyph sequences in High Peak all lead the same place, so you don't have to copy down all the different codes (I haven't tried them all, but I'm 4/4 on them going the same place).

Drem work the same way in the reverse, as Kroshkkur overrides all else for them.

A Drem Doombringer gets The Maggot instead of the regular start point, though whether this is better for a Doombringer or not is up to debate.

Got swallowed by a worm at level 31. So I'm guessing it becomes possible at 30.

If you rescue the ally in the worm, you teach THEM a skill and get an achievement, "Is that what it feels like to be an Escort Quest?"

Yeah, I was able to teach her the Pain Enhancement System Prodigy. Between that and my not suicidally catapulting myself into AoE damage fields while yelling about how I needed to hurry, I was like “not, that’s NOT AT ALL what being an escort quest feels like, and I resent the comparison!”

While encountering a Zigur patrol, I found some runes on the ground.
I entered those at the occult egress and it slowed all map patrols for the rest of this run.

When I did that I got an artifact.

"Tentacle Trees" at the Mark of the Spellblaze. When you touch them, they either vanish, turn into enemies, or give a mini-dungeon full of worm monsters and gastric waves. No bosses.

Inquisitor once dropped the Illusory Castle tome for me, but didn't the second time I played through.

Another fun thing: The tentacle tree enemy or the enemies inside the tentacle trees will drop random artifacts (orange) named "_ of the Blightspawn." These are usually very good, though once I got one that had -12 DEX on it.

EDIT: Stuff I learned about Parasite in my last run as a Cornac Wyrmic (I died, but I got knowledge and that's what counts):
-Cornac keeps it's racial abilities 100% afterwards. Added class points still pop up, meaning the only downside to Parasite (outside of losing headgear) presents itself if your escort chances beforehand haven't been lucky.
-Take a Bite will interact with Ancestral Life and Wild Growth, similar to how Swallow works. So as a Wyrmic you should view this talent as a way to regen your resources for 11 turns. This unfortunately seems to overwrite your infusions however...
-I ended up refunding my investment in the third talent for at least until I was going to get some points in Thick Skin. The resists you get are great, but the weakness reduction also increases. It's actually a tolerable amount, but you might end up being Oozing or Radiant Horror bait if you're unlucky.
-Ultra Instinct's global speed buff is larger than a Yeek's.
-Also of note to any Wilder, that -5 WIL is permanent but you can make up for it with gear choices.

So if you're looking at something that can make the best advantage out of Parasite, it's either:
A. Something that can take huge advantage of Cornac's extra points and doesn't mind the WIL minus.
B. Shalore or Yeek, who can stack the speed buff with Ultra Instinct. Needs a class with lots of free Generics though.
C. A Thalore can use the Blight resist with the trees, but this is a bit more minor.

I found two portal sequences in Vor Armory, one complete and one with a blank tile.
When I went to the portal and punched in the first one, it activated it but without the swirly portal in the middle. I couldn't enter it, it just sat there glowing and spinning, and when I changed the sequence and tried to re-enter it it wouldn't activate again.
The second one I can't seem to figure out the missing tile.
Any idea what those two do ?

Iirc, you have codes in vor:a if you have tinker trees and you get 2 brain in jar
I write guides and make addons too now, apparently

You can go here for a compilation of everything I wrote, plus some other important stuff!

Includes general guides (inscriptions, zone, prodigies), and class guides (Demo, Anorithil, Bulwark, Zerker, Sblade)

Duh ! And since I thought you couldn't get that in AoA, I never brought the tinker skills high enough to unlock the recipes, so I didn't even notice. Well, thanks for the info.

Of course, my undying curiosity got me to try one of the codes from High Peak next with my winner, and then I ended up facing the personification of entropy... REKT. :(

To be fair, that particular portal does say something like “You can go here, but you’re probably going to die if you do so.” Truth in advertising! (I recommend Drem Possessor for beating it, though there are probably lots of viable choices.)

So question. Does anyone know if in your character sheet and winner screen, does the Parasite take over or do you still get the "win" with your original race?

My OCD needs to know before I put this damn thing on. :(
