Infusions, % or low CD?

#1 Post by Tom »

Hello!

When you pick an infusion, do you choose low Cool Down or high %?

How about double infusions. Is there any combo that is 'better' than others?
Or is 'single' (physical, mental or magical) better than the doubles generally?

Generally, low cooldown is most important - at least if we're talking about (1) wilds, (2), movement, or (3) injectors.

The types where the actual value is important is (1) regen, (2) healing, and (3) shields - but even or these, the cooldown is still important.

On wilds, you really want a physical / mental, and if you can't find this I'd go with physical only.

I agree with Quidix overall, but wanted to add one thing. If you're using Medical Injectors, it may actually be worth having a Wild (mental) over Wild (physical) because you can't activate injectors or use items while asleep. If you get hit with Sleep and can't remove it, you might also get hit with Inner Demons and get wrecked. I noticed this issue while playing Demonologist in EoR, since I was relying on injectors and item talents to remove status effects. If you're wearing an item with the Lucid Dreamer effect, you can safely skip Wild (mental) and just use injectors.

Good point, and this ladies and gentlemen is why 'Eye of the Dreaming One' is awesome
