I read Bloodborn and thought it would be a perfect match for Corruptor.

6 levels in, I put a skill point in Blood Mage, and it reduced my max Vim from 220 to 40, which is a slight problem.

This talent can alter the world in a permanent way, as such you can never relearn it once known. :(

Edit: I see that Blood Magic skill is borrowed from Nullpack and designed for a different class. So maybe this can be considered working as intended. Blood Mage on Corruptor would be very strong if it didn't destroy the Vim pool, but makes sustains a huge problem when it does.

Yeah, that's an existing thing. It can still work; but it requires careful sustain juggling - Wilful Tormentor (or whatever the skill is called) from Corruption/Torment will still increase your vim as normal, and you might have to go without some of the other sustains in that tree for a while.

If you want to try it more simply; try combining it with the nullpack Blood mage it uses trees from - added mastery isn't as great as more trees but it is nice. Else, it'll work well with anything that likes being in melee. Arcane Blade will probably be great for it, as would a Sun Paladin, although there's admittedly not that much synergy.

Nope, 2 points in Willful Tormenter isn't changing Vim at all, still 18+2*Lvl either way. I haven't found a +max vim item yet to test, but the character seems to be working for now, bosses are just hard. I've wasted a lot of points including both cat points on things that aren't so useful with so little vim, so can put this down as a plausible different style of corruptor to the normal.

...that's odd. I could have sworn those two talents co-operated. O_o
(Makes character)
Yeah, on my end, activating Wilful Tormentor successfully added max vim. Dumb question; you know it's a sustain and not a passive yeah?
(Though, to be fair, that's not actually available to Bloodborn by default.)

I learned today that we can't use Vampires in the Infinite Dungeon, or the Arena, or in Embers :c is this on purpose? Was really looking forward to sending a Manawraith Arcanist into the dungeon.

Re: Embers, I can help. My Embers With All Races add on covers all (I believe) of astral's races, as well as all of the base AoA races and a number of other addon races. (I'd link to it, but I'm on mobile and it's a huge hassle).

As for the I.D., I'm guessing it was just something astral overlooked. I know she's not been active for a while... if she doesn't get back to you on this sometime soon, I could whip up an Inferno Dungeon Race Patch(tm) pretty easily.

Actually, I may have over looked this with my own add on races, come to think of it. I'll have to check that out. Thanks for bringing it to my attention (albeit inadvertently).

Edit: re: Arena: Same as for Infinite Dungeon.

Thanks man :D

And, here you go PseudoLoneWolf . Turns out it was only the Races (with a capital 'R') which were not showing up, because all of the other 'races' are added to Races that are already allowed in the Arena and ID. If that makes sense. Anyway, this addon will allow you to create Vampire and Construct characters in the ID and Arena, if you have an addon which adds said Races, such as astralInferno's Inferno Race Pack (or any of astral's prior addons which add these races separately).

I have a bunch of class addons! Mostly celestials; I make a lot of celestial classes for some reason. "Celestial Oddities", "Viper" and "Highblade" are probably my best class addons.

gah. Is a mistake.

yeah. thanks for doing the patch, dude. :)

I haven't been coding recently. When I update this again (I assume I'll come back to coding tome stuff at some point; next dlc if not before) I'll fix this bug too.

No problem :)
Gave me something to do for a bit, and working on something that someone has asked for comes with the added benefit of knowing that at least one person is going to appreciate it :D
