Movement Infusions are no longer so good that they give you 1200% movement speed. That was nerfed in the last update, and now one will find they give a much reduce speed increase. I also assume (and hope) that he is referring to Controlled Phase Door Runes.
Its amazing what the mind can come up with, but it shows talent to make something of it. - Davion Fuxa

in 1.2.4, the training dummy doesn't work anymore to get the dual wielding damage limit on Windblade.

Windblade is still worth it, but getting the dual wielding damage is more of a bother now.

As for Legacy of the Naloren - the Trident that you get also has an extra cooldown on Rush - it's feasible to get Rush to 1 cooldown, if you combine the trident, a high enough talent leven and a Dragon armor, which means you can rush around all the time. Since Rush gives you a free attack @ 120%, that is very cool. Orc patrols suddenly see me zip around and then cease to exist.

Yeah, Timeless doesn't work for Unstoppable any more, so not such a combo. Timeless is still great, and the other Shaloren racials are pretty good for Berserkers, the speed bump activatable, and the crit chance and multiplier bump are perfect.

Steamroller, though, is just epic! Awesome mobility! Decent weapon and build and there's nothing short of a boss that you can't 1-2 shot, and then just keep going across the map, with stacking damage bonuses up to +100%! Orc Prides were a walk in the park on Normal.

I can agree with this absolutely, having extolled the virtues of Steamroller myself in my own Normal zerker win. It might be incapable of carrying you through higher difficulties (heck if I know) but on Normal it's almost like you're a controllable Shadow Veil murdermachine.

Hi,
I just wanted to say thank you for this guide, I (at last) defeated the master with an ogre berserker... without any death (alright, I died to the Orcs just after, but not without taking away my fair share, and I think I misplayed a bit). Anyway, I still have to figure out if the Superiority Tree is useful, for now I don't seem to be able to use it properly, but apart from that, thank you ;-)

Could someone post a new guide for a total newbie? The one here doesn't correspond to the talent groups I see in the game, and it's enough different that I can't piece together what the changes for the current game should be.

Thanks!

PS - I am using Tengine 1.5.5

PPS - I can't log in to the online profile using the login I created for this forum. Is that a separate login which is required?

Nevermind.

Apparently, I'm playing a Bulwark, not a Berserker, LOL!

The other question still stands, though. I can't log in for the in-game profile.

Also, there are two equipment slots I haven't filled yet, and I don't know what's supposed to go in them.

It's the spot above the left ring, and the spot above the boots. This is referring to the "i"nventory window.

Thanks!

OK, figured out the separate login for the profiles.

I also figured out the waist slot in inventory. So just have the spot above the left ring, still not sure what goes there.

Thanks, all!

That's the slot for arrows or sling bullets.

OK, makes perfect sense then, I don't have any ranged skills, so I haven't tried putting anything there :)

A neat thing I figured out is that Fast Metabolism is even more worth it as a one point wonder in a Berserker now, especially if you're pumping Con for Relentless Fury/Thick Skin/Unflinching Resolve percentage.

See, Fast Metabolism actually improves with your healmod to a pretty good degree. By stacking it with gear and combining with the small healmod buff you now get from Con, you can end up regenerating more than you lose from Berserker Rage at some points. The important thing about this is earlygame when this is more of an issue and the 2% loss is less, but more passive health regen/faster rest is nothing you're going to complain about through he whole game either way.

This guide is 4 years old-it's also the most recent as far as I can tell.

Maybe we could use a new one? Most of this is still relevant.

Outside of Tinkers the only things really worth mentioning that are new around it are Timeless not being as useful here, CON, and the new Survival tree. The latter which given this guide's focus on general advice is self-explanitory anyway (get Track, 5/5 in Device Mastery if you wish, etc). Oh, and Dirty Fighting. You do have a pretty good Stun and Rush dazes so you can take advantage of Backstab, Cripple being gone is bad but Twist the Knife isn't terrible for you given that it can also make use of Death Dance. Meh.

I guess one on Ogrewielding would be interesting given Shield Wall's debuff removal making it not absolutely awful. You can shore up Stun immunity if you really need it there, and Repulsion can reset your Rush.

I am in the process of writing a new berserker guide since I won with this guy a month or so ago.
I write guides and make addons too now, apparently

You can go here for a compilation of everything I wrote, plus some other important stuff!

Includes general guides (inscriptions, zone, prodigies), and class guides (Demo, Anorithil, Bulwark, Zerker, Sblade)
