Re: "Odyssey of The Summoner" is OUT!! Find it here...
Completed a game with Fire Drake (https://te4.org/characters/56415/tome/b ... a9d0a17ab0)
Compared to my experience with Drake in earlier versions, keeping drakelings alive was actually pretty simple and by the East they couldn't be killed by most things without my interfering. I would have likely finished with all starting drakelings, but while defending Jeweler, I got totally bored and haven't realized Huuloc is suffocating until it was too late. And so, he was replaced by certain sand drakeling and there were no more losses until endgame. 3 more unique drakelings are still waiting for their turn.
Didn't realize that drakelings now carry your breathing properties and did Lake of Nur solo right after Sandworm Lair. Thankfully there were no luminous horrors and Tyrannic Aura allowed to kill a Weirdling Beast.
Lost Merchant aggroed on drakelings who killed him. Having no idea where to spend all those money, I literally ate almost all infusion and rune supplies of Eyal. Charsheet shows 717 to max hp from eating inscriptions and I still have 2-3 pages of infusions in inventory and there might be 1 or 2 mostly untouched stores.
Prides were mostly straightforward, though I skipped Vor vaults. High Peak vaults were skipped too, mostly because I got to lvl 50 and it got somewhat boring. Final battle was very easy, the only moderate difficulty was keeping Aeryn alive, mostly due to Tyrannic Aura taking away her Second Life and other buffs.
I'll have to check Atamathon and other loose ends later.
Some random minor things:
Tempered Steel is exploitable. You can just juggle points in it when crafting a large batch and then put points into something more useful.
I like how in the first summoner location you can get to him from entrance by pressing one direction key. Can his further locations be modified similarly? Second one is especially tedious as it requires a lot of clicks to maneuver.
For some reason escorts are the only things I've seen so far (which isn't far as Ritch honestly) that can't be beheaded by Ritch. Why not a option to have your own head from another timeline?
Soothing Shell description says that it heals everyone, but it actually deals nature damage sometimes (to undead? not sure).
Enrage and Terrorizing Roar descriptions say they increase attack, but actually increase physical power.
I had a couple errors, all of which are probably connected to Hoarding Beast. First two or three were with stair guardians summoning my Inner Demon who upon taking lethal damage upchunked some of my items (not sure if they actually duplicated), caused error and stayed alive despite having several thousands negative hp. All of these time I killed the game process and replayed again. Next time I had this error after final battle which had similar result and got me stuck in dialogue. Finally, after reloading the game to before final battle, I tried using Gluttony, which got me the same error after upchunking a few items. After manually upchunking the rest with Relief, Relief started to give similar error. When emptied this way, it showed that I have "0 items in stomach weighting 5 encumbrance". One possible cause of this might be arcane items that were consumed before I became anti-magic, since Relief and Gluttony haven't upchuncked a single one and I'm sure I ate a couple before.
Inner Demon error:

Re: "Odyssey of The Summoner" is OUT!! Find it here...
@Arsonius
Very cool report! I always love hearing these because it gives me a good idea of what everyone's *own* experience is with these very unorthodox classes. Oh, and most importantly: You go into the little "hall of fame" section in the add-on's "init" file. I'll find a better way of showing these off one day, however!
RE: Fire Drake is TOO easy!
Truth be told, the original design of this class was going to be an EXTREMELY overpowered character with an EXTREMELY steep learning curve. The idea was that "Drakelings" would be terribly OP if raised correctly while the Fire Drake itself would be quite underwhelming on its own (much like the "Summoner" class). This said, I can extrapolate that the whole run was so easy for you because you have mastered the "Drakeling" mechanic. How helpful would you say Enghryza's "school" was for acquiring said mastery?
RE: Tempered Steel exploit
Hmmm... I don't want to render too many talents "un-unlearnable" (yes, you read this right) because in "Adventure" and "Roguelike" difficulty, you can hardly remove any points anyways-- So its an exploit that requires effort and can only really be utilized when playing in "Exploration" mode. Let's pretend this is an extra liberty I'm granting the player...
RE: Summoner's spot is inconvenient
I'm not sure I would since this isn't really solving any "technical" problems and would just be tedious more than anything. Maybe I should shift the character to the side so that you're misaligned in ALL locations...
RE: Can't behead escorts
There's a few (unwritten) rules about what you can't behead:
- You cannot behead "Critters" ("dark gray" ranked enemies)
- You cannot behead things that won't give you EXP unless they're Unique or Rare (IE: nothing that is 7 levels lower than you)
- You cannot behead things that were "summoned" (I haven't checked, but "Escorts" might be considered as a summoned party member with no timer)
- Most importantly: You cannot behead yourself-- Unless the "you" that you're beheading happens to be another entity doppelganging for yourself-- On which case, I guess that still isn't technically "yourself", per se.
RE: Soothing Shell
It's supposed to harm the undead (much like the "Tree of Life" aura), but there might be some technical complications. It's not thoroughly tested though, since it's not exactly a "highly-exposed" talent.
RE: Increased attack
... I really do despise that wording in this game-- How "attack" is actually "Accuracy" and "damage" is actually "Attacking Power". Very well, I'll fix this wording.
RE: Inner Demons
I... *HATE*... INNER DEMONS!!
All they do is just DUPLICATE your character, and there's no hook whatsoever that allows you to modify them-- They don't even get a special parameter that lets you identify them systematically. They're just... Dangerous and game-breaking, and I have no clue what I could do about them and the way they interact with my mechanics-- At least, nothing that wouldn't be terribly time-consuming and brute force.
... I guess you could say "Inner Demons" is... Well, one of my "demons" right now!
RE: Arcane objects in your belly!
OHHHH!!!! I NEVER EVEN THOUGHT OF THAT!! That's a GOOD find!!
ALL arcane objects are destroyed upon becoming antimagic-- But I never considered that the objects in your belly would NOT be correctly upchucked upon such happening. I need to retabulate your belly encumbrance after this happens... Good find!!
RE: Various errors
... Yuuuup... ALL of them are pointing to Gluttony and the way belly storage works.
I'll have all these fixes in for the next update. Thanks for reporting in!

Dying to your Dark Crypt (Shadow Crypt? The one in the east) clone will give you your trophy of your head.
As a side note, the multihued drake scale glitch showed up twice in a game. Poor character, killed by a 7-zip glitch.

Re: "Odyssey of The Summoner" is OUT!! Find it here...
Major glitch. Yay! If you get the die while seperated from your drakelings, you are unable to speak to the Summoner at Summoner's Hideout (and probably any others where your drakelings aren't). This means it is impossible to continue the plot and get a certain item from the summoner. He only offers to return your drakelings, but it doesn't work. You can find your drakelings at the battlefield, and killing them might fix it, but you can't because none of your damage works.
Wait, save editing might save me again!
Edit: Save editing broke both it and the backup I made for no explicable reason. I think I have had more level 30 saves broken by glitches then anyone at this point. I had beat the master and I only had one death too. I seem to have the absolute worst luck at avoiding glitches. Especially just after I get to level thirty and think I am going to win. Uggh.

@Kamani
... You've got to stop editing saves. It's, like, 1000 times safer to just... Play in debug mode and do some console commands. Yes, I know-- If it's a non-cheat character, it's going to become tainted-- But wouldn't you rather just fix the problem than start all over again...? That, and by editing the save file, you're pretty much already cheating. After all, the glitch isn't your fault-- It's mine.

Re: "Odyssey of The Summoner" is OUT!! Find it here...
Hey, after like a month of lurking these topics, I can be useful!
Fire Claw is throwing Lua errors each time I try to use it for reasons that I'm unsure of. It worked fine before, but after updating to the most recent version and starting a new Fire Drake, now I can't use my claw. At all. Throws an error each time.
EDIT AGAIN: After many creations and deletions of Testy McScaleface, I've confirmed that it was an addon clash with Peppersauce's Pepper Pack. Seems like the addition of Sound as a damage type threw off the damtype calls of the Claws talents.

Re: "Odyssey of The Summoner" is OUT!! Find it here...
Save editing does work for the multihued drake scales glitch (if seven zip doesn't break, and this time I had a backup saved and ready. Debug mode invalidates saves and is unable to fix the multihued drake scales glitch. So, probably not. Anyways, that glitch should probably be fixed soon since it breaks the Summoner progression.
Edit: Well, actually I know nothing about console commands, so they might be able to help if I knew how they worked.
Well, whatever. Back to Fire Drakeing.

Or you could, y'know, just not take that prodigy. Since you know it's broken and all...

Actually, that wasn't the issue this time.

I investigated this, and I can't seem to determine exactly "what" is wrong. I have no clue how the Pepper Pack works, and I don't really intend to find out...

@nekarcos
Yeah that's totally fine, I debated deleting my message after I found out it was a mod conflict but I decided to leave it in case someone else comes across the same problem. Pepper Pack is fairly popular, so it's not unlikely. I'm pretty certain that the problem stems from the addition of an extra damage type, Sound, in Pepper Pack. Regardless, it's not a problem that you should probably concern yourself with right now.

Testing has been very good so far-- Very few problems... Just need to do a bit more and it'll be ready to go.
