Expanded Shop Inventory mod does exactly what the title suggests, increases the number of items (and quality limit) to increase player options and cut down on screwed-by-the-RNG restarts on higher difficulties, though there is no guarantee you'll always get everything you want.

Heh, I was hoping someone would someday do this. So far it seems to work well for me. It would be awesome to be able to have options for how much items will be in store but for now this is good.

This mod doesn't change the types of items available in any particular shop, it just increases the number of items each shop has in stock.

Just tested and the Ancient Automated Teacher in the Tinker Master's Cave has 26 steam generators. As far as I know that's the only place in MajEyal that sells generators, and you have to get the escort quest (which also lets you unlock tinkering categories)
