Roguelike Utterly Destroyed

Okay so I know you can get the eidolon from a farportal event, however when I have gotten that event(twice so far) he just tells me to go away and teleports me out, no option to let me die or anything.

Do I need to find him twice in one character? (tedious) or have I done something else wrong?

I've only tried it on characters I already won with so does he not care about me once I became a winner, I figured it was a good spot to get that achievement done after I was done with a character anyway.. If neither of those then I have no idea

Utterly Destroyed - Died on the Eidolon Plane.

you need to die on the Eidolon Plane. Like bump yourself to death.

Oh wow I was way overthinking it then, guess tunnelvisioned on the fact that you can ask him to kill you on the other difficulties. Good thing it's called dumb questions :p thanks!
