ToME - Dumb question?

Hi, mates.

I have a question.
So, there's a stat for character size. I'd like to improve mine for RP-stuff.
Being completely new (played 6 hours), still not having any clue about anything,
can someone point me in the right direction?

Mostly, you just need to find random items that boost character size. Also ogres start as big, there's a tinker talent that boosts it if you put in 5 points I think, and I think one of the prodigies might do it (not sure). Character size really only matters when there are talents used that specifically mention it, like swallow for wyrmics, or the ogre racial that lets you wield a 2 handed weapon in 1 hand.

There is an artifact or two that can increase your size, Other than that you can get +2 size from randarts.

It's useful against Brawler rare monsters who try to grapple you, depending on their size relative to yours it will fail if you're too big. Conversely if you play a brawler being larger lets you grapple more monsters.

Not sure what other relevance size has on the game beyond what the above poster mentioned
