ID Level Generation hang

I don't know how else to report this, played ID after end of main quest, then at one point ID just perma-hung on way to next level. Quit out, came back, all ID progress gone.

I now get that manual saves in ID would be helpful to deal with lack of zone, but is there any known reason why the ID hangs on generation? Had just finished an exterminator quest around level 80 or 81.

The only way to say what happened is to have the log file. Unfortunately when you re-run the game it wipes the log file and starts fresh so that information is no longer there.
