If I take Rak'Shor's Cunning, will I be barred from towns?

I was considering taking Rak'Shor's Cunning on the Cornac character I'm playing now, but I just realized that if I become a ghoul or skeleton midway through the game, I won't have the Cloak of Deception that a skeleton would normally start the game with... Does that mean the towns will be hostile to me? Is there a way to get the cloak once I become undead?

I doubt that it changes your faction to undead, which is the reason regular ghouls and skellies get attacked without the cloak.
