Chat not working?

The chat hasn't been working for me all day. Is this a server thing or something on my end?

This has happened to me before, and it seems to be caused by the chat channels getting unselected in my game options. I'm not sure how it happens since I didn't change them manually, but it's happened at least twice before.

Go to Game Options > Online > Chat Channels and make sure you have them selected.

All chat channels are selected. Unselecting them causes the Chatbox to say I left the channel. That's not the problem.

Is that chat working for you right now?

edit: It's working now. But no one has given me a straight answer whether it was down pretty much all day yesterday and today or if it was just me.

I had chat issues as well for past 24h ...

something wrong with the servers or connection yesterday, kept going offline, chat wouldn't come on even when the game reconnected to online mode.
