Save corrupted? coming back to Maj'Eyal from the east.

Upon returning from the East I entered Angolwen to shop and the game client began lagging pretty hard, as it does occasionally (running a 6600k and a gtx1080). I noticed that the saving bar was stuck at 25%, so like an idiot I manually saved and the game froze. I reopened the save and I was on the world map at Derth and all of the fog of war had returned!! Exploring around, I noticed that the optional dungeon locations on the world map had changed. THEN I noticed that:
A: Reknor was gone from the map, and talking to the guy in Last Hope did not open the quest again.
B: My stronghold portal was gone.

I tried entering the stronghold from the Lake of Nur entrance and it was locked and the Weirdling Beast hadn't respawned to unlock it. I went into all the old dungeons and everything was cleared, but they were located in different places. Not having access to the vault is one thing, but I am unable to progress because I cannot go back into Reknor.

Any help?

I have the same problem with one of my characters. I'm not sure what should be the correct scenario because this is my first comeback from the east.
Some entrances have disappeared (Reknor, Sher'thul fortress, lumberjack village), although I managed to get into fortress from lake.
Also, once I'd come back from the east I noticed that Eyal map become undiscovered so I had to discover it again.

Iirc one of the causes of save corruption like this is related to steam cloud so you might want to turn that off if you haven't


Also the game is still winnable but you'd need to do Ruins of Telmur (if you have the orb of many ways in inventory tannen's quest should open?)
