Currently when you use catalepsy you trigger the remaining damage from worm rot, but in doing so the worm doesn't actually spawn
How about giving the talent itself a % chance to spawn a carrion worm when triggered by catalepsy, scaling based on talent level
As it stands right now, the talent itself is a 1 point wonder (and a pretty good one at that) since putting more points into it only gives it more damage, and the good things about the talent (phys effect removal, carrion worm spawn) don't change with talent level

So it's only if the creature dies from worm rot itself? I thought it was "when creature infected by worm rot dies", wouldn't that be better? Or it's just that catalepsy triggers, removes rot and then deals damage?

Worm rot only triggers if the debuff ends, if you kill the enemy or you use catalepsy it doesn't spawn
